Terms of service

These terms govern use of Pair-Vera, a service operated by Makru consultancy. They supplement the service, price, country, renewal and payment information shown before an order. Mandatory consumer rights always prevail.

1. What Pair-Vera provides

Pair-Vera provides evidence-led compatibility and setup information for consumer electronics. Definitive verdicts are produced by versioned rules over scoped evidence. A result may abstain when identity, evidence, freshness or safety is insufficient.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep account access secure and provide accurate information. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security or availability, automate abusive traffic, or present Pair-Vera results as evidence for a different product, revision, region or use case.

3. Offers, orders and access

For Europe, Compatibility Passport costs €2.99 per month and renews monthly until cancelled. Setup Project costs €6.99 once, lasts exactly 30 days after activation and does not renew automatically. The checkout shows the applicable total, tax treatment, country availability and payment provider before payment.

A browser redirect is not proof of payment. Paid access starts only after Pair-Vera verifies the signed payment event and records the entitlement server-side.

4. Renewal and cancellation

You can stop a recurring service before its next renewal through the available account or support route. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not by itself decide a separate withdrawal, refund or non-conformity request.

5. Withdrawal, refunds and service problems

Where a statutory cooling-off period applies, including the usual 14-day period for many EU distance contracts, it remains available unless a lawful exception applies after the required express request, consent and acknowledgement. Starting access does not by itself waive a mandatory right. Contact support to withdraw, request a refund or report that the digital service does not conform to the agreement. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory remedies.

6. Evidence and limitations

Results apply only to the identified products, revisions, regions, evidence snapshot, ruleset and requested capability shown with the result. Pair-Vera does not replace manufacturer safety instructions, official recalls or professional advice. Never use a result to ignore a recall, electrical limit or safety warning.

7. Availability and changes

We may repair, secure or update the service and its evidence. Material changes to paid terms are communicated as required and do not remove rights already acquired. Countries and features remain unavailable unless Pair-Vera has enabled them explicitly.

8. Operator and contact

Pair-Vera is operated by Makru consultancy in the Netherlands. Required trader and transaction details are presented before an applicable paid order and in its durable confirmation.
